Founded by Aaron Schumm in 2016, Vestwell has now raised a total of $42.5M in reported equity funding. YourGuru, the booking platform for health, wellness, and fitness experts, has raised $1.45M in additional funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that there were five participants in the round and lists Ntiedo Michael Etuk and Andril Zavadetskyi as Executives. YourGuru previously raised $450K back in 2013. Brooklyn-based Brightest, the platform for discovering volunteering opportunities, has raised $450K in what appears to be a convertible note according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $750K and there was a sole participant in this close. Brightest was founded by Chris Bolman in 2018. Vestwell $30M – Series B FireHydrant, the enterprise-level IT incident management and prevention platform, has raised $1.5M in Seed funding led by Work-Bench. FireHydrant was founded by Bobby Ross, Daniel Condomitti, and Dylan Nielsen. Hair loss startup Nutrafol has raised $35M in Series B funding from investors that include L Catterton and Unilever Ventures. Nutrafol was founded by Giorgos Tsetis C.E. and Roland Peralta in 2014.
